In the U.S., the perception of analytics as “extremely important” in formulating benefits strategies has increased year over year with more respondents citing it as “extremely important.” We see a year-over-year migration among those who find analytics to be “significantly important” to “extremely important.” Unfortunately, a full one-third of respondents assess analytics as “slightly” to “moderately important,” a percentage that has remained the same year over year, indicating a widening gap between employers who make data-driven decisions and those who do not.
